Vera Victoria Rigss, 68 years old was born April 28, 1952 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She was the 5th child of 6 children born to Percy and Vera Williams. Vera spread her wings to meet our savior on March 30, 2021 at Hackensack Meridian University Medical Center in Hackensack NJ. Vera married, Mr. Otis Clarence Riggs (Divorced) she had 5 children: 2 boys, 3 girls (2 of which are deceased-Otis Riggs Jr. & Tamika Allen) Vera worked at Hudson County Welfare in Jersey City, NJ, place where she worked for almost 15 years. She is survived by 1 brother: David Williams Sr and his wife (Sister-in-Law) Margie Williams. She also leaves behind 2 daughters (Iris Riggs Evans and Ambirr Riggs) and 1 son (Darrin Riggs and his wife Shamicka Riggs), and a daughter-in-law Mary Riggs. She also leaves behind many grandchildren (17): Joanne Mallard Benthal, Shardae Chisolm, Deshawn Sims, Danielle, Sergio, Jordan Amaker, Shamicka Riggs Holness, Jessica Riggs, Darsharee Riggs, Jaila Riggs, Daniel Allen Jr., Marquis Allen, Shaniqua Allen, Taneshia Allen, Tiara Riggs, Ebony Crystal Riggs and Madison Symone Evans (deceased grandchildren: Otis Riggs and Troy Chisolm) and great grandchildren (12). Nieces and Nephews: Theodore Clark, David Williams, Jermaine Williams, Lisa Cooper, April Williams, Dorese Williams Morrison, Jacqueline Williams, Demetrius Williams and a host of other nieces and Nephews. Aunts, cousins: Aunt Mickey McLaughlin, Bernitia and Barry, Antonio and Safee, Lisa and Teresa; Best Friends- Barbara Wilson and Valerie Carswell.
