It is with both human sorrow and unbreakable faith that we must share news of the passing of Smith W. Rice.
Smith W. Rice was born in Union, South Carolina where he also graduated from school and later on, moved to New Jersey to reside. He had 9 siblings and was the son of the late Cornelia Gallman Rice and Charlie Rice.
Within his later years in life, he was the owner of Smitty Tavern and also a hard-working truck driver for the company named Victory Van Lines and United Van Lines. He was very humble, quiet, giving, never complained and helpful to others on all levels. He took care of the family and others with no questions or problems, with affection and support to all he knew.
He loved fishing, bowling, horse racing, the casino, walking his dogs Molly and Troy, a good cigar when he smoked and a cold beer when he used to drink. He just enjoyed family. And if you're happy he is happy.
He was preceded in death by all his siblings being the last living sibling until this day that he now becomes our loving memory. Also preceded in death is his daughter in law Rhonda Black and Sons Don Aiken and Todd Aiken.
He leaves to cherish his memory, with his Wife, Companion Soulmate Rosa Aiken-Rice who is heartbroken with loss of her love.

(Son-In-Laws) Henry Lowe and Markeith Leverett. (Granddaughters) Amethyst Rice, Veronica Lowe, Laila Leverett, Kristal Aiken, Jessica Aiken. (Grandsons) Siwon Rice, Rasheen Rice, Keith Rice Jr, Keanu Jones, Dondre Mitchell, Damani Mitchell, Scott Aiken, Sedrick Aiken, Andre Aiken,and Kelshawn Black. Along with a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and many friends.
