Obituary:
Monroe Bradley, son of the late Arthur and Minnie Mae McCord Bradley, was born on June 22, 1939, in Bowman, South Carolina. Monroe accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age, laying the foundation for a life devoted to faith, family, and service.
A lifelong member of Monumental Baptist Church, Monroe served faithfully as a Trustee, Usher, and Helping Hand. His commitment to the church extended beyond his duties; he was often seen driving senior members and children to services and events, embodying the spirit of servant leadership. On snowy days, he could often be found faithfully plowing snow at the church as well.
As an entrepreneur and skilled mechanic, Monroe dedicated his career to his craft, earning the respect and admiration of his community. His passion for cars was evident, and he often shared this interest with others, especially when it came to his pride and joy, his blue Ford Galaxie 500. Monroe Bradley found eternal and everlasting rest on Sunday, July 20, 2025, in Sicklerville, NJ. His life was a testament to the love of Christ, and he leaves behind a legacy of faith, service, and dedication.
He was a devoted husband to Rebecca Bradley and a loving father to Monroe Bradley Jr. (Shanna), Michael S. Bradley (Marie), Yvonne White (the late Darryl R. White Sr.), and Karen P. Bradley (John). His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Christine N. Cobb, Danielle Jarrett, Darryl R. White Jr. (Monique), Michael S. Bradley Jr., Aysia R. White, Eric A. Nash, Marcus T. Bradley, Breanna White, and Alyssa Nash; and great-grandchildren: Christopher J. Cobb, Gina Jarrett, Genarra M. Gibson, Kyleigh J. Davis, Jaxon K. White, and Khori J. White.
He is also survived by his siblings: Vernell Bradley, Dinah Grayton, and Eugene Bradley, along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
