Heather Nadine Pierce- Majette, was born on September 20, 1970, in Jersey City, NJ. After a recent but brief courageous fight against illness, Heather entered eternal rest on October 17, 2025.
Heather grew up in the city of Jersey City, NJ. She was proudly educated within the Jersey City Public School system. Heather attended School #15 Elementary School in Jersey City, NJ as a young child. She then attended and graduated from Snyder High School, also located within Jersey City, NJ. In pursuit of higher education, she also took several classes at both Hudson County Community College and New Jersey City University (NJCU) both located within Jersey City, NJ.
As a child, Heather attended Macedonia Pentecostal Redeemed Church, Jersey City, NJ along with her mother and family, and was introduced to Jesus Christ. She grew to love the Lord. One of Heather’s favorite scriptures was Romans 5: 3-5: 3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
It was later in her adult life, that she accepted Christ as her personal savior and began to attend services and became a member of Miracle Temple Churches of America, Inc., (Jersey City, NJ) along with the love of her life, her late husband -Fred Majette. Fred and Heather fell deeply in love during the 2020 Pandemic. Heather was quoted as saying- “Fred and my time together was short, but our love was mature. And I know that our love was anchored in GOD.”
In their brief time together, Fred and Heather worked diligently as a team to encourage each other’s dreams to come true and were remarkably successful. From authoring books, starting a prayer line, turning hobbies into business ventures (selling crochet items- blankets, baby clothing, etc., starting a natural skin care line for both Men and Women~ ”Zene Fari” & “Beards Balm & Brawn”). Their goals kept them busy but very much in love!
Heather once worked as a teller for the Excel Credit Union in Jersey City. Her most recent employment included Security at NJCU until her health no longer allowed her to continue working.
Heather was preceded in death by her late husband- Fred Foster Majette. Her father- James Pierce. Her Grandmother- Novella Mosley. Her brother- Christopher Dixon. Her grandson- Bernard Gordan, Jr.
