  The General Pastor Ernest Myers III was born April 16,1965 in Jersey City, NJ to The late Ernest Myers Jr and Evangelist Irma L. Myers. He was one of nine children and was preceded in death by his sisters, Evang. Ernestine Y. Myers, Pastor Brazetta L. Myers and Prophetess Sharon L. Watson.
      The General Pastor Ernest Myers III graduated from PS. 22 located in Jersey City N.J. Following graduation from grammar school he completed his high school education from Lincoln High school located in Jersey City NJ. As He begin growing into the Man known as The General, He went to serve our country in the military- completing his time served. After serving the military he received  his certification in HVAC and sheet medal in Local 25 in North Jersey, serving over 25 years. He later met his wife First Lady Latisha (Daniels) Myers. He attended Liberty University and received his associates in Lynchburg, Virginia. Upon serving, completing and receiving many certifications, The General was also called to serve in the 9/11 tragedy in pulling out bodies in the World Trade Center. Years after he went to  Evangelical Bible Institute under the leadership of Overseer Nathenial Screven.
      Thereafter, marrying His Bride Latisha, his nickname’s he would often call her since early years, (Sunshine and his saying, was “I hit the Jackpot”) The General and First Lady Latisha Myers, were blessed with three beautiful children, Ja’Naisha Destiny, Ernest Malachi, Je’Nae Alicea Myers.

The General Pastor Ernest Myers III, was compassionate, loving, strong faith, courageous, hard-working, mighty MAN OF GOD, who always pushed for greater. No matter how tough this cancer battle was, he continued to fight and hold fast to the faith. He always kept GOD first, loved his wife, children and family. He would often say, “ONLY BELIEVE & I’M NOT MOVED”. 

The General has served diligently in ministry since childhood; He received salvation at a very young age. God used his experiences, teachings and anointing to develop disciples to be saved and equipped to fulfill GODS purpose in their lives. The General Pastor Ernest Myers received his license for ministering through the late Pastor Louis Henderson III of New Beginning Ministries located in Jersey City NJ.

Everything God has called him to do he faced without hesitation he was a deacon, minister, pastor, General, veteran, prayer warrior, faith man, church trustee, the Late Pastor Henderson’s III Adjutant, a prayer leader in building the wall prayer team under the leadership of Apostle Christopher J. Russell.

So much of his work was accomplished in the following ministries: COGIC temple Under the leadership of the Late Rev. Dr Randolph Johnson, Mt. Zion COGIC under the leadership of Dr Eddie F. Williams, later joined to serve under the leadership of The Late Bishop Arnold Z. Hudson of Hudson Temple COGIC. After serving many years, he was later called to serve with his Brother in law under the leadership of The Late Pastor Louis Henderson III and Pastor Lady Jacqueline L. Henderson of New Beginning Ministries and Glory Fire Temple. He also followed his Pastors by attending The Fellowship under the leadership of Overseer Nathenial Screven, the Lord then called Him and His family to move to Memphis Tennessee and serve under Apostle Christopher and Chauncey J. Russell of Victory Tabernacle.
          After years of His Faithfulness, GOD later called him and his family to pastor “Cathedral Rhema Word”, while continuing to lead his wife and children. God had him stretch out on faith and called him to serve again and to also fellowship, under the leadership of Apostle Anthony & Dr Sarah Parker of Refreshing Life Praise Cathedral and Heritage Conference of Churches under the Leadership of Presiding Bishop Donald S. Hudson.
        He leaves to cherish his wife First Lady Evang. Latisha Myers, his three children, Ja'Nashia Destiny, Ernest Malachi and Je’Nae Alicea Myers. His loving mother, Evang. Irma L. Myers, his siblings, Deacon Ronald L. (Melvis) Fykes, Pastor Lady Jacqueline L. (Myers) Henderson, Apostle Christopher J (Chauncey) Russell, Min. Darren Myers, Karen Myers (Philip) Henry, LaCrisha Jones-Myers and Wesley Myers. A host nephews, nieces, loving relatives, in-laws, close friends and church family.
      The General Pastor Ernest Myers III will never be forgotten and will always be remembered by “Do GOD and He WILL do YOU” and “I’m NOT moved, I got the VICTORY”.
