Edwin Josiah (aka Sala) was born on June 10th, 1950, to Jestina and Manasseh in the village of Old Road, Antigua, West Indies.
Edwin attended the Old Road Government School. Once completed, he travelled to the US Virgin Islands, where he lived for a few years before traveling to the United States as a young man.
Edwin resided in the Bronx, NY, while working in Jersey City, NJ, for Hartz Mountain Industries, where he met his future wife and love of his life, Denise Miller.
Edwin and Denise were married for 49 years on January 8th, 1977. From that union, five children were born.
Edwin started his own construction business, E&J Construction, where he oversaw many construction projects throughout the
tri-state area. He was known for being a true professional and having an excellent work ethic.
Edwin loved the lord and was a very spiritual, kind person who was always willing to assist anyone in need.
Edwin leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 49 years, Denise; his five children, Jason, Justin, Megan, Jarrod, and Mara; eight grandchildren, Deven, Raven, Nyzira, Jahrese, Maleki, Maniyah, Aiden, and Declan; seven brothers, Lom, Roywan, Benjamin, George, Darylam, Wentwort, and William; sisters, Salomi, Camelita, Magdalene, Cecilyn, Neriesha, Primose, Gloria, and Lyndinella; Daughter in Law, Natalie; goddaughter, Jahan, and a host of nieces, nephews, loved ones, and friends.
