Darryl Johnson

Darryl Johnson burst into this world on May 8, 1981, in Jersey City, New Jersey, much to the amazement of his proud parents, Patricia and Randy Johnson. The legend goes that even as a baby, he rocked a smile so handsome it could rival a toothpaste commercial. They dubbed him "Handsome," a title he carried with him throughout life. But Little did they know, he would become the undisputed handyman of the decade — capable of fixing anything he laid his hands on. If there was a problem, Darryl was the solution.

With a heart as shiny as gold, Darryl adored his family with an intensity that could make a Hallmark movie jealous. He leaves behind his beautiful wife, Latrice Johnson, and their three lucky children—Dalaisha, Dalyanna, and Imani George—who inherited their dad's dazzling smile and charm. Darryl was preceded by his son, Darryl Johnson Jr., as well as a slew of grandmothers, an aunt, and an uncle who were no match for his handy skills.

In the wake of Darryl's departure, his siblings—Chanta, Randy, Tawana, Nitasha, Douglas, Duran, and Lanaya—now bear the responsibility of maintaining the family's trademark smile. And speaking of keeping things in the family, Darryl's nephews and nieces deserve a shout-out for their energetic presence: Chantasia, Chanta, Destiny, Nazir, Niyha, Julianna, Rashawn, Kyson, Kyshawn, Tyasia, Ny'maira, Nitasha, Devyniah, Devyn, Damira, and Jenese. It's safe to say the Johnson clan brings the party wherever they go!

Let's not forget to thank Tanesha Reed, who deserves a lifetime supply of duct tape for her unwavering support.
