Claudy Jerome Powell

Claudy Jerome Powell was born on November 19,1957​​ to the late Morgan and Miggie (Snowden) Powell in Jersey City. Claudy educated in the Jersey City Public School System. At the age of 18 he enlisted into the United States Army and was honorably discharged. He was hired by Jersey City Housing Authority and began to search other avenues for his life. He and some friends formed a band, Claudy was the drummer and lead singer of some of their songs. When the band ended he began boxing one of his matches was at Madison Square Garden. He is not to be considered a failure because he gave his best effort. Claudy married his teenage love Gwendolyn Ruff Powell. They had two sons who were in the wedding Terrell Ruff Powell and Keith Ruff.Then came Cadeem, Helena, Cory, Emanuel and Sausera.

Claudy and Gwendolyn divorced, and Claudy found another Sweet heart Wanda Muse Powell whom he was with until his death 4/13/22.Claudy was not only a husband to Wanda,He was also family to her children. Claudy worked for the Va Hospital.He also loved Cooking. He knew about Jesus his scripture psalms23 and Matt 6:9-13 His find decision is between Him and God. Claudy leaves his family:Wife Wanda Muse Powell Sons:Terrell(Heather), Keith(Deadria), Cadeem, Cory, Emanuel and Future Son-in-law Franklin. Daughters: Helena and Suasera Grandchildren: Breanna, Cjamel, Keymora and Malayah, Great Granddaughter: Nyobi, his brother and  his best friend Marvin Powell, Sisters: Joyce Glumph, Helen, Debbie (Mark)Hooks, Leslie (Joseph) Pitchford; 8 Nephews, 6 Neices, Grand-nephews and Grand-neices Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
