Beverly Davis Obituary

Beverly Kea Davis born 9/26/1957 to late parents of Ida Ruth Davis & Matthew Davis. She transitioned from earth to glory on Wednesday, December 2, 2020, while asleep.

She was educated in the Hoboken School System; then worked as a Supervisor in Shipping/Receiving for Toys-R-Us, in Seacaucus, NJ. Beverly continued her education by obtaining an Associate Degree in Applied Science at Hudson County Community College with a concentration in Computer Programming; She also obtained a Bachelor Of Science degree at New Jersey City University formerly known as Jersey City State College; additionally, she was a Computer Assistant, Electronic Learning Lab, Jersey City State College. Beverly was the mother to three sons, the late Lamont Davis;

Darris Moccus Davis and Jamill Enos Davis. She was the legal guardian to the late William Hollie Davis and Damaris Davis-Hollis, her niece and nephew, upon their parents demise. She made sure her children had the best early education by attending St. Bridges Catholic School then Jersey City public schools. She captured every special moment of their life events with a photograph; this allows them to reflect on all the love they shared.

As a child, Beverly
faith in God was evident as she worshipped with her tambourine at Rose Of Sharon United Holy Church in Hoboken, New Jersey. She raised her children under the tenets of Rose Of Sharon Church, until she moved her family to Jersey City and became a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church. Years later, Heavenly Temple Church of God In Christ was the family’s place of worship. She peacefully maintained solace in God, as her serious health challenges steadily grew. As a concerned mother, she kept the health challenges quiet, by casting it to God, for He cared for her and the family, marvelously.

Beverly had a huge passion and love for the 4C’s: Coffee, Cooking, Cookies &   Computers; she studied computers and learned how to build & break down, install software, installation and configuration of LAN/WAN network amongst basic Networking.

She was dearly loved by siblings: Clifton K. Vick, Dr. Madeline Fay Davis, (late:Irish Marie Rhone, Gwendolyn Annette Davis, Frederick Nevada Davis and Bruce Davis). Aunt, Mary Lou McNeil; uncles, Billy McNeil & John McNeil. She leaves to cherish her two sons Moccus & Jamill Davis, a daughter Damaris Chan’ta Davis-Hollis(Antonio); siblings Mr. Vick & Dr. Davis; Aunt Mary Lou McNeil; grandchildren; Bashard Davis, Lega’ce Amiya Davis, Chase William & Iverson Hollis and a host of nieces & nephews, friends and relatives.

Confidants: Mother Rosetta Simmons, Mrs. Powell, Lola & Kelly Jackson, Lillian,Jim & Andrea, Louis Galarza & Lenny Robinson.
Beverly’s imprint in life will be forever missed and remembered by many. The family are blest to have had her and are saddened by her sudden demise and will continue to honor her life and legacy. To God be the Glory for giving us Beverly Kea Davis for 63 years.
