Our beloved Barbara Ann Thomas-Neely, departed this life on Wednesday December 7,2022.
Barbara A.Neely was born on March 12,1949 to the late Leon Thomas and Marion L.Coleman-Thomas.
Barbara was born in raised in Jersey City, NJ. Where she attended grade school P.S.#14,then went on to receive her high school diploma from Henry Snyder High School.
Barbara began her career as a accounting shortly after high school working at All Plumbing Supply. Barbara married her first husband at the young age of 22,which they had four children Shawn,Tondra,La'Chele and Dawanna Terry.
Barbara later met and fall in love with Charles D.Neely. They started a whole new life which took them from Jersey City. Barbara started working for Dow Jones which lasted for 12yrs.in that time they moved on in bought they forever home in Ewing,NJ.
Barbara then started working for Princeton University, after working they for 17yrs, she retired from the accounting industry. Barbara then started working for the boy/girl club as a counselor. She worked their all up to the time her health began to decline.
Barbara is remembered as the matriarch of her family by her Husband, children and grandchildren.
Barbara is preceded in death by her Father and Mother,one sister Linda H.Hill, two nephew Barry Hill Jr. and Gerard Hill, an one granddaughter Jasonna N. Terry.
Barbara leaves behind to cherish her loving memory her loving and supported Husband of 33yrs, Charles D.Neely,(One son)Shawn D.Terry,(three daughters)Tondra C.Terry, La'Chele J. Terry and Dawanna N. Terry, 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, (one brother in-law)Eddie Metz, (one sister in-law) Lisa Metz, (two nephews) Trever and Richland Hill, (one niece) Nicole Hill as well as a host of family and friends.
