Audrey Helen Pierce

Audrey Helen Pierce affectionally known as “Helen”, 85 transitioned peacefully from natural causes on November 8, 2025, at Jersey City Medical Center, in Jersey City, NJ.

 Audrey Helen Harris-Pierce (Mama) was born on July 4, 1940, in Birmingham Alabama to the late Willie Harris and Emma Robertson Harris. She attended Lincoln elementary school and Parker High School in Birmingham Alabama. Audrey and William Henry Pierce, Sr were united in marriage in Birmingham Alabama.

Audrey Helen Pirece worked as a healthcare provider for many years. Doing what she does best helping others and caring for people. THE BEST MOM EVER!!!!!. She was a great caregiver, and kind and nurturing.

She was a devoted mother to her 11 children, she was a great provider, friend, and supporter to all. She opened her door and provided a safe haven and welcoming environment for all.

Audrey had a passion for preparing hardy meals that brought her family together. He home was a gathering place filled with Love, Joy, and Laughter, and the aroma of her delicious meals.

Audrey faced life’s challenges head on with grace, courage, and unwavering strength. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by ALL whose lives she touched. She took pride in her family and they will carry on her legacy of resilience and devotion.

Audrey is preceded in death by the late Ulysses Stinson Sr, Eddie Lee Simmons, William H. Pierce, Exel Nalls, with whom she shared her children. Parents William Henry  Harris, Emma Mae Robertson- Harris, Brothers Willie Henry Harris Robert Earl Harris, Petterson Harris, Thomas Harris, Jimmy Harris. Sister Willie Pearl Harris. Daughter in law Evelina Pierce.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving children Ulysses Stinson Jr (Debra), Lee Andrew Simmons, Andre Pierce(Kiya), William Pierce (Pat), Sonja Pierce(Charles), Kevin Pierce, Tammy Pierce(Mike), Rodney Pierce(Christina), Veneedia Pierce, Freeda Nalls, Exel Nalls Jr. Grandchildren Ulysses, Ulysses III, Margie,  Kijuan, Ashley, Erica, Tyler, Tyson, William, Deshawn, Alyse, Shalyse, Charles, Eric, Shamira, Shakeema, Takeema, Quaniese, Tanajah, Haneefah, James, Sharman, Kayson, Kayla, Kadan, Kayanna,Kaylani,Kay’nan. God children Jeffrey Johnson, and Eugene Johnson. And a host of great grandchildren, Nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
