Annette Smith

Annette Smith, Age 54, of Jersey City, NJ. Gained her wings on July 10, 2025 awaited by her parents at the gates of heaven, leaving behind a countless hold of heartfelt memories. Born on May 14th, 1971 to the late John and Sandra Smith. Annette was the third eldest child out of thirteen.

In her early years, she attended Lincoln high school. Later on, she recieved a blessing from God, with the birth of her only child Leon Rashard Smith, whom she loved immensely.

From her unique voice and bold choice of blonde hair, Annette was like a rainbow, whether it was rain or sunshine going on in life, she still remained her colorful self. She lived her life to the fullest, every chance she got. She loved dancing, music, and enjoyed spending her time with her family every chance she got. She was blessed enough to always be surrounded by her family, Annette felt love from every way she turned. She had a great personality and sense of humor.

She was blessed to have the experience of becoming a grandmother to three beautiful granddaughters Aneesa Gibbs, Amani, & Leonie Smith. Annette was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, great aunt, and dear friend.

Annette was welcomed into the gates of heaven where she reunites with her parents John & Sandra, her oldest brother Bernard, and her nieces Danaisa & Journei, whose memories she held close to her heart. She is survived by her son Leon, her Granddaughters Aneesa, Amani, & Leonie, the rest of her sisters and brothers, Timothy, Raheem, Dwayne, Lillian, Bernice, John (Ernestine), Terrance, Darren, Darryl, Olivia, and Shirley, a host of nieces and nephews, and the rest of her beautiful, loving family & friends who will forever cherish her love in their hearts.
