John Russell Ellis Jr. son of the late John Russell Ellis Sr. (deceased) and Christine Evon Kinch (deceased) was born in Rahway NJ.
Graduated from Rahway High School, received his diploma. He resided in Asbury Park, NJ and was employed by Gourmet Food, Neptune, NJ.
He enjoyed spending time with his sons, grandchildren, as well as family and friends.

He will continue to live on in the hearts and minds of those he loved and those that loved him. His (stepson) Twquan Wilson, John R. Ellis III, Trevon Ellis, Keyshawn Ellis, Stephon Eubanks, and JaQuil Ellis; Beloved grandfather of six; Eldest brother of Darryl Ellis, Jemod Ellis, Deirdre Ellis, Lynell Ellis, Troy Ellis, Markeef Ellis, Gerald Ellis, Latesha Ellis, Timothy Ellis, Heather Ellis; Uncle to twenty six nieces and nephews, great uncle to four. A host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends as well as Co-workers that he admired.
