Franklin Atutu Ogara was born on October 1,1958 to the loving parents of Moses Fregene and the late Alice Fregene in Oghara, Nigeria. At a young age, Franklin served as a officer in the Nigerian Military. Upon completing his military and educational obligations in Nigeria, he came to the United States of America to pursue a better life.
Seizing upon the opportunities this country had to offer, Franklin completed his IT certification as Chubb Institute of Technology and began a career in trucking and logistics. With this certification, he became the owner-operator of Pacific Trucking and other companies.
Franklin enjoyed roller blading, skiing, and camping in his spare time. Watching soccer games and the New York Giants play with his son Matthew was his favorite pass time. In 2014, Franklin married is longtime love Ebony Knott. To this union was born two children.
Franklin Atutu Ogara departed this life on Sunday, July 28, 2018. He was preceded in death by his mother and one brother.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife Ebony Knott-Ogara of Jersey City, NJ, his only son Matthew Franklin Atutu Ogara and his loving daughters Christina Ruth Ogara, Whitney Renea Ogara and Dominque Jahnee Knight all of Jersey City, NJ. Three brothers, Onajite Fregene, Alexander Fregene and Jacob Fregene. Five sisters, Temisan Bomor, Cynthia Fregene, Christina Passini, Susan Out and Rebecca Goetchi of Oghara, Nigeria. Mother and Father in-law, Benjamin and Harriett Singleton. Five sister in-laws and three brother in-laws; and host of relatives and friends.
