Emanuel Kendrick Bennett, Sr. of Charlotte, N.C. (formerly of Jersey City) - On January 29, 2018, he made his heavenly transition home, “He is playing for another choir”. Beloved husband of Chante Hines Bennett. Loving father of Briana, Kayla, Ayana, and Emauel, Jr. (Jack) Bennett. Adored son of Harry and Linda Bennett. Cherished brother of Tracy Veasley (Calvin), Damicka Riley(Jerome), and Kimberly Bennett. Caring uncle of 11 nieces, and nephews. Nephew of 28 aunts, and uncles. Precious grandson of Roosevelt Delbridge, Sr., Mary Nelson, Supt. Garrison and Lubertha Hines and a host of other loving relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be 10:00 am on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at True Vine Church of Jesus, 145 Linden Avenue, Jersey City, New Jersey, 07305. Visitation will be from 8:00 am to 10:00 am at the church. Final Repose will be at the Rosedale Cemetery, Linden, NJ 07305.
