Dollie Odell Davis was born on February 17, 1952 in Dalton, Alabama. She was one of several children blessed the union of Lizzie Jackson Davis and Herbert Lee Davis.
Dollie along with her family migrated up north to Jersey City, New Jersey. She matriculated in the Jersey City Public School system. She respectfully graduated from the P.S.# 22 School and Lincoln High School.
Dollie a strong woman began to chart her path in life. She gained employment for theJersey City Police Department. She worked for Saint Francis Hospital and for the State of New Jersey Unemployment Office.
Dollie was a long time member of the Macedonia Redeemed Pentecostal Church of Jersey City where she served as an Original Macedonia Warrior. Dollies enjoyed many things in life. She enjoyed reading and listening to good music. She loved baking cookies and simply doing for her family..
Dollie was preceded in death by her beautiful and loving daughter Sineka N. Davis and her brother Jerome (Rome) Davis.
Dollie will live in the hearts and minds of those she loved and those that so dearly loved her, two granddaughters
Aaliyah M. Franklin and Iyana S. Franklin; siblings Robert L. Davis, Jr., Lois Davis, John Davis, Diane Davis, JoAnn Davis, Bobby Davis(Lavise Davis), Leon Davis, Michael Jackson, and Trudy Jackson. She also leaves a host of loving nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
