Dara J Dupree

Dara Jean Dupree formerly of Newark, New Jersey was born on July 7, 1959 to Jean and William Dupree Jr. She was one of several children blessed to this union.
Dara was a gifted and talented lil girl. She could sing and dance. She enjoyed spending time with her family. When God blessed her with a family of her own. She already knew how to treat them with the same love she received as a child. Her grandchildren became a priority in her life. They made her smile like none other did.
Dara affectionately known as "Mema, D and Aunty Dara" was a go getter. She didn't let any grass grow under her feet. She graduated from Shabazz High School, Newark, New Jersey. She continued on with her education and earn an Associates Degree in Biology from the Essex County Community College.

Dara was indeed one of the kindest and most loving person ever. She wasn't a push over by any means. She will let you have it!!! She stood her ground and at the same time greet you with a smile. She was giving...like a Samaritan heart she did for others. Dara would literally give you the shirt off of her back. That's just the kind of love she possessed.
Dara will live in the hearts and minds of those she loved....and those that loved her; loving husband Wallace Harris two adored children DeAnte' and Ta'Ana Dupree; precious grandchildren DeAnte Dupree, Jr. Isaiah and Zyana Chatmon; loving parents William and Jean Dupree; cherished sisters Pamela Dupree and Dawn Troutman; caring nephews Hashim Bradley, Kammeron Dupree, Joshua Dupree and Keenan Cunninham; beloved nieces Sara-Ray Brooks and Briana Shipley and a whole host of other loving relatives and friends.
