Cynthia Mordi

Cynthia Mordi was born July 27, 1959 the second oldest daughter of Elder Isador and Brenda Davis.

Educated in the Newark and East Orange school system, she attended Belmont Abby College in South Carolina and Upsala College in East Orange, New Jersey. Cynthia was a dedicated supervisor of housekeeping for over twenty years at Cranes Mill Retirement Senior Living Community located in West Caldwell, New Jersey.

Cynthia was born to serve and she did with all her heart. Among her many attributes was her gifted cooking skills, an outstanding chef she was noted for feeding anyone which included family, friends, and the homeless. She enjoyed working with the feeding program on many occasions she would prepare soup, and just last month she spent time severing at the Bethlehem Community Food Pantry, this was her final community service. Her greatest achievement was being the best mom, she was a mother second to none, and her children were her pride and joy. Christian and Stephanie Mordi are her contribution to the world and what a blessing they were to their mom. (The Wind Beneath Her Wings)

Highly respected, Cynthia Mordi  leaves to honor and cherish her life her children Christian Mordi, Stephanie Mordi (Princess), Jul Rolls, and Peyton Mordi (granddaughter) her mother Mrs. Eleanor Davis,  her sisters the late Dolores Hunter (Willie),Robyn L. Lee (Vernon) Michelle Gregory (Mark) Kelly Strother, Adrian Davis (Sister & Best Friend) Two brothers Elder Isador Davis, Jr. (Shawn) Kevin Davis (Ramona) her aunts Lauren Hargrove, Karen Morris (Clarence) Marguerite Sledge, Lucille Spruill, and Barbara Davis  3 Godchildren, Shaquanna Jean, Christopher Jones, Vernon R. Lee and a host nephews, nieces and friends.
