Delphine Hansome sudden death has caused a great sadness. Born November 18, 1965 in Newark, New Jersey to the late James and Margie Hansome. She departed this life on Wednesday, April 26, 2017. At an early age, Delphine became a member of The Church Of God (which became Peace Temple Church Of God In Christ) under the leadership of Pastor Clarence Harrell. She remained a member of Peace Temple until her demise under the pastor ship of Pastor Javon Allen. She sang on the Young People’s Choir, and work with the Youth Department. She was a volunteer of the church outreach ministry Kids Club For Jesus and she cleaned the church. Her favorite gospel songs were The Least I Can do and Praise Him in Advanced. Delphine graduated from Barringer High School in Newark, NJ. She was a friend to many people. She served as a listener and advisor. Once she advised you, nothing seemed impossible. She was known as the” Psychic “ . You could come to her with any situation, and she would predict the outcome. She loved to listen to music, and watch her lifetime movies. Here favorite saying were OH WELL and LOOK AT THE BLESSING in every situation. If you knew Delphine, you knew she loved, loved to shop. She was Ms. Glam. Her hair and makeup always to perfection. She did hair and interior decorating for a fee. She could take any room and transform it into a master piece. She could makeover anyone. Everyone knew who to call for a makeover for an event. She opened her closet of clothes, shoes, hats, coats, handbags and jewelry to anyone who was in need. Delphine pride and joy was her children and grandchildren. They came to her for everything. She trained her grandchildren to call her Grandmuh not Grandma. She will be missed by many. Delphine leaves to cherish her memory: Her children Melanie Hansome. Janice, Gerard, and Gerald Hansome (father Gerard Green) Grandchildren: Emya, Janasia, Gerard Jr., Sanaa, Kyron, Gerald, Neveah, Janie, and Harlee, Sister: Margie Hansome Nephews: Ide, Iyere Okojie, Godchildren: Thanton Jorden, Amelia Green, Jaden Germany, God sister: Latonya Germany, Godbrother: Allan Edwards, Special Cousins: Tyrone Germany, James Shuler, Adoptive Children: Edward Conover, Jada Branch, Special Friends: Jerry Medy, Brian Johnson, Dora Cooper. Delphine has a host of Aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and Friends. Delphine is predeceased by her parents James and Margie Hansome, one sister Debbie Hansome Okojie, and one brother James Hansome Jr.
