Bessie Mae Cureton of Jersey City made her heavenly transition home to be with the Lord on November 28, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Gaston Cureton, Sr. Loving mother of Vaughneva Wright (Davarn), the late Randy Cureton, Sr. (Norvella), the late Carolyn Mainor, and the late Gaston Cureton, Jr. Cherished grandmother of David Mainor, Jr (Stephanie), Randy Cureton, Jr. (Latoya), Saneisha Mainor, and Jayron Mainor. Caring sister in law of Livingston Cureton (Gee), Bertha Cureton, and Ethel Tillman, Adored best friend of Virginia McDaniels, Maggie Cox, and Mildred Young. She leaves a host of nieces, nephews, precious great grandchildren, other loving relatives, and friends. A celebration of life will be on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 11:00 am at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 472-76 Bergen Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07304. Visitation will be from 9:00 am - 11:00 am at the church. Final Repose will be at the Rosehill Cemetery, Linden, NJ.
